The 3rd edition of "Rainforest Challenge (RFC) Global Series South Europe" will be held from 24 to 27 May and this year will offer four days of intense competition in a special location for tourism, food and wine as the region of Collio in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy), land of ancient winemakers.

Thursday 24 will be dedicated to hospitality, all crews and teams will arrived at Cadibon Farm, the Headquarter for all four days of competition. Here will be performed technical and administrative checks. Will follow the prologue in the afternoon with four special stages to test the abilities of individual crews. The infopoint and lunch-stand for the crews will be near the first special stage area.

This year the special stage will be four with 2 kilometers each, each stage will have a "special stage" with mandatory steps and a "special chrono stage". Five crews of each group will have 2 hours maximum time for the "special stage" and once reunited to the finish line, they will start for a single lap "special chrono stage".

At the end of the 2 hours of "skill stage", each team will have to meet at the start-finish line (also with possible recoveries for each team, excluding retreats). The "chrono stage" will follow, with a single lap, which will start every 5 minutes. At the end of the "chrono stage" the teams meets for the transfer to the next competition area. All four competition areas will have the same format.

Each single crew will be able to carry out four stage every day, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. Of course the track will be marked by arrows of different colors for each category: red for the Prototypes, yellow for the Modified and blue for the chrono stages, the same for bolt categories. The organization recommends to pay attention to penalties (gloves, belts, helmets, doors, retrieves, sportiness).

The "special stage" will be open at 09.00 am. At 11:25 will end the first special stage and at 11:45 start the first "chrono stage" (presumed time of the "special chrono stage" 10/15 minutes except for hitches). 12:25 maximum deadline to bring the whole team together at the finish line.

Attention is recommended in safeguarding the schedule, which is important for the recognition of the scores accumulated during the race that will give the ranking. On Sunday morning there will be one "special chrono stage" of a lap (full gas) 4 km to be done in the shortest possible time. Start of the first crew at 9:00 am every 5 minutes each crew that will have 1:00 hours maximum time to complete the “one shot stage”. At the end, the appointment will be made at the Cadibon Headquarter for the awards and the closing ceremony.

RFC Global Series South Europe Summing Up

- 4 Stages for the prolog (thursday).
- 4 "Skill stage" and 4 "crono stage", to be made out in two days (Friday and Saturday). The starting order will be determined by Thursday’s prologue for starts of Friday and the Friday rankings for starts of Saturdays.

- One stage "one shot" on sunday.
- 2 km for each "skill stage"
- Start every 5 minutes between each crew
- Maximum time for each "skill stage" 2 hours for each crew
